Senior citizens meeting for a weekly knit and natter have made scarves and blankets for the homeless.
The residents at Rowanberrys Methodist Home, in Clayton, Bradford, have been busy knitting for Bradford Day Shelter, which provides a drop-in service, hot meals and clothes for homeless people.
The ladies are aged between 75 and 93, and are members of our knit and natter group, said activities co-ordinator Patricia Wood. During one of our topical discussions recently they decided to do something for the homeless. They came up with a Yorkshire Day theme for their blankets.
